SELECTION PROCESS

Two committees viz. the Screening Committee and the Empowered Committee shall be constituted for finalization of the awardees. An evaluation team may also be constituted to furnish the first level of shortlisting based on selection matrix developed for each criteria.

1 The preliminary short listing of the nominations will be done by the Screening Committee.

2 The scoring will be done according to matrix that will measure the impact and relevance of the project.

3 Scoring Matrix shall be as per the Annexures- 1, 2, 3 and 4 according to the Categories of the awards.

4 Those with the highest scores will be shortlisted.

5 The Screening Committee may further opt any or all the ways to verify the nominations i.e., by making field visits, organizing spot studies, feedback from beneficiaries etc

6 The shortlisted applicants in desk appraisal will be called for online/offline presentation on their submitted schemes/programs/projects.

7 Finally, the nominations of each category will be sent in twice the number of awards in each category to the Empowered Committee

The Evaluation team may comprise the officers as per the recommendation of the Screening Committee and the team will submit first level of shortlisting to the Screening Committee. This team will also facilitate the whole of further follow-up, document verification and field visits by their own or at screening/empower committee level as and when required
